Beta 4 - Game gets stuck upon tasking out while starting a new mansion?

Interestingly enough, this happened to me again, so I hit Esc. That dismissed the pause box, but the fade was still stuck.
So, I hit Cmd-Q, to quit, and the 'quit confirmation box' banished the fade. Then I closed the box and the game worked normally.
