Concerning the kitchen - this is actually the first time I realize this... (although I have to admit I never thought about whether the house is

complete

or not while building it.... I just added one room after the other !).
But now that you mention it - I'm sure it would have been fun to add a kitchen - and also it would have been a challenge and it would have offered a wide range of possibilities, designwise and in terms of gameplay !
