I really don't understand this either!
This ladder always worked perfectly (otherwise noone could have finished JUMP, ever!) - and now doesn't anymore.
I remeber that there have been some changes made by Vern as to how ladders behave - but I don't remember the details.
And BTW, I'm absolutely no fan opf changes that may cause old mansions to suddenly behave differently !
However - here's what I did:
The ladder - as it was - had 2 ladder tiles with
So I have now changed the left of those
But please don't ask me what it was that caused this ladder problem - or to be more precise: what was it that caused Vern to change the behaviour of some ladder tiles ??!? :-?
I will send an update of JUMP to Brell later today or tomorrow.

However - here's what I did:

gapsin them, right next to another - this caused Jack's fall, apparantly.
So I have now changed the left of those
gap-tilesinto a normal ladder tile (see circled area in PIC below, upper left corner) - et voilĂ : Jack doesn't fall anymore !!
But please don't ask me what it was that caused this ladder problem - or to be more precise: what was it that caused Vern to change the behaviour of some ladder tiles ??!? :-?

I will send an update of JUMP to Brell later today or tomorrow.
