Download Rezilla, find the carpet ID in the PICT file in the Midnight Mansion Sprites file with Rezilla, in your mansion file create a PICT category with Rezilla. Then in photoshop use the levels button (Command L) to adjust the colour. Eliminate the red, add more blue and less green; just fiddle with it until you have it where you want it. Then copy it to your mansion and ta-da, you have a blue, green, yellow, orange, or even purple carpet. Whatever you feel like.
