The switch on the far upper left does NOT turn the fire lamps back on & the Medusa kills Jack while he is still trying to figure out if there is a hidden lever or something.  The switch on the far right shuts them off as he leaps to the left.  (Top level)

Made the Medusa head slower, and moved the upper right switch a little (easier to avoid now).

I can't check this out in MLB as the room is dark.  Pls note that the ladybug's timing on the vine after Jack jumps to the upper ledge on the far left, which activates the Medusa, prevents Jack from either jumping up or down on the vine & the Medusa just corners Jack on the ledge and kills him.  The fire lamps don't help at all in this instance.  hmmm.  Pls don't tell me that a player needs to be fast.  This spot is a death trap, period.

Depending how you jump to the left, the combination Medusa / Ladybug will be different every time. Every time I tested there was no major difficulty escaping from above or below. Anyway, Medusa is slower now.

see pic below.  The yellow brick appears after Jack explores the upper right ledge.  He then goes back down to get the bat mobiel to go up, but the yellow brick prevents it.  The only way to get it out of the way is to leave the room and reset it.  Perhaps you can use a disappearing brick instead?

Good idea. I used a skeleton brick, as otherwise the batmobile can get blocked. Note however that if Jack jumps on the ledge again (without having left the room first), he has to kill himself.

The vine under the purple key is not that great.  Kind of to short when Jack jumps from the left to the right, & they are both sort of stuttery.

Indeed, not the mansion's best feature. Since I don't know how to fix the stutter (I can only make it worse), and it is not a very dangerous spot, I'll have to leave it as is.

Yes, that's the one which is supposed to open. The other one is a decoy.

You mean from the bottom middle vine to the rightmost one? :-? There is a safe way through the room below.

In NORMAL version, on the roof, near the pole a fast brick catches Jack and fast tracks him to this room, giving him a chance to get off OR sweep him back to the pole.
In this HARD version, the yellow brick, grabs Jack at the pole and stays in this room.  Forcing Jack to do this entire section again, just to get down the pole.  Is this on purpose, or an error?

Actually, it's what happens in the Normal version which is not intentional. But it's a good idea, so I modified the Hard version to behave like this as well.
