Is that what you did, and it's not working?

I added what I did to my original post. 

I really DON'T LIKE THIS SET UP.  If Jack goes down the ladder 1st & pulls the lever, then he is in the mess I got into.  NOT A GOOD PLAY AT ALL!!!

I am in HARD version right now, and this time I pulled the lever in the middle of the room 1st, then left the room and the brick is still going up and down like it should when Jack re-enters the room. This is not what happens in the Normal version. The brick goes back into place when Jack leaves & re-enters the room. The normal version should be looked at by the designer.
