Jack made it all the way down the ladder on the left and then to the first silver brick going to the Right.

The troll went in the lava and Jack died when trying to jump over to the next silver brick to the right. 

Jack reappeared at the top in the middle silver brick without a troll to help and nothing to do but die, die, die.........

What you're meant to do here is when you're on the lower level and moving towards the key, move to the left and when the goblin is about to fall in, have Jack duck so Jack doesn't move, then move the goblin back to the lever, then jump to the next one, then duck and move the goblin back, etc. till you get the green key.

You should re-spawn at the beginning if you die, if not then it's a bug.
