There are 2 kinds of Medusa heads, plus a Ghoul head. Of the 2 medusas:
1) Elizabeth
2) Arthur
Arthur is male, and he dies permanently when killed by fire.
I think the problem is that Arthur looks a *lot* like Elizabeth. Maybe his color should be changed, so he is more obviously different? I thought the same thing when I first played this mansion -- I thought Arthur here was Elizabeth.
Vern, when one is playing in fast motion, there really is no time to stop and think is this the male or female. Perhaps a change is now in order? Maybe make them both dead by fire? It sure keeps things simple, especially with all the business of MM2.
