Jack should be able to get back up to the vine, as he was exploring from the upper level. The Bat-Mobiel won't let him.

Hi Anthony, I don't think you understood what I was saying.
Jack was at the top, took the vine down from the top, and could not go back up the vine as the bat brick is TO LOW.
He is forced to back track just to get back to the top of the vine.
