No, no..... I won't call a certain section a cheap death only because it's a bit harder..... so those medusa heads, or fat spiders or zappers are indeed no cheap death.
As cheap deaths we usually characterise only those situations that will almost always result in a dead Jack because they come so sudden or are otherwise unavoidable.
E.g.: Jack enters a room (either by walking on a floor or steppin' off a ladder etc.) and IMMEDIATELY there's a creature to kill him - a creature he had no chance of spotting before (or in time to avoid).... the same goes for zappers that are directly behind a room entrance and similar things.
Being often accused to include the odd - let me say -

But again..... it's one thing to do something like that in a
hard-to-very hardmansion - but in an otherwise easy-to-normal mansion it can be a different story.
