I remember in the town I grew up in, which had a big university, there was an area for the
university hospital, actually several medical facilities and hospitals almost like a little district in itself.... and there it was the same, but it actually has a whole system of underground streets !!
They are for the maintenance people but also for medical transports to drive as fast as possible between the different hospitals.
