OSX Lion
#1
Hey,

I was just wondering if this has been tested on OSX Lion at all. If not I might be able to try MM HD on it as I might be able to upgrade as it will be coming out within the next couple of weeks (with my dad's consent of course)

That would be great if you can do that, Leon! It turns out my iMac is too old to run Lion, so I can't even test it myself! (Intel Core Duo, instead of Intel Core 2 Duo.)

The irony here is that people with an Intel Core Duo *have* run Lion on their Macs, simply by deleting a plist file that prevents it. So Apple is basically keeping it from running on non-64-bit processors not because it can't, but because they want to limit it. Booooo Apple!!

Ok Big Grin

Hopefully my dad should let me download it from the Mac App store when it's ready

Just Download Lion today Big Grin

So far the game seems to work alright on Lion but I'll try using some of the Lion features with MM to see if I can break it to break

Just a side note, MM2 does not work on Lion as PowerPC Apps are no longer supported and it seems that Mac has dropped support for Rosseta Apps too.

That's why I usually stay one OS behind, so they have time to work out all the bugs and developers have time to make apps for what no longer works.

I just upgraded to Snow Leopard. 8-)

Thanks for testing Leon! Good to hear it seems to work. Keep reporting on your experience as you get more time stress-testing it. :-)

No worries about MM2 -- we'll upgrade that to a HD version once MM 1 HD is finished. The code is already done. It'll just be a matter of upgrading the graphics.
