When gold bricks are on, Jack can use the vine to jump into the middle level to pull the lever which opens the gray door blocking the red key. There's a secret passage on the upper level which Jack can jump up to when the silver blocks are on. If he takes that passage to the room to the right, there's a lever in there that will change the gold/silver blocks if necessary.
