15900 The red bird flies behind layer 6 bricks on the right, but only partially, so it looks strange. Fixed.

15506 Is the top right blue-handled lever supposed to turn off the zapper beam in front of the yellow door? Right now it doesn't do anything. Fixed.

16504  Way too many critters to dodge.

OK - I was wrong here, and it wasn't the room I thought it was (16905). You're right, I'll modify it. Getting rid of the eye on the right side, its trapdoor and its vanishing platform make a big difference.

margherita: After taking a longer look at it, I take it back, I now see where it happens and can reproduce it each time. Here's a new screenshot of that screen after my edits tonight.

Overall changes:

* Instead of two ladders in that area you were having problems there is one. The ladder that goes off screen simple goes further down and the platform is below the zappers. It doesn't appear to have the same issue. It's slightly eaiser, too.

* As mentioned earlier, middle horizontal zapper removed
* the bottom right blue lever, switches off the horizontal zapper in the upper right side.
* the moving platform in the lower right, extends left a bit further.
* I've also corrected that layering glitch on the right wall

Semi: you were right on everything... the small stuff has already been addressed and some of the larger stuff may take a bit more time. Some of the JS, I'm uncertain of where Jack is when stuck. A screenshot may help.

I'm exhausted at the moment... and not feeling really well. The next update may be tomorrow evening to give me some time to work on some of the larger issues.

15508  Jack Stuck.  Silver blocks are on, Jack died in zapper beam and reappeared on the left-most ladder. He can't go up or down. This room is too tedious.

Thoughts on making this less tedious? I'm playing with it. I've already removed two of the zappers, and I'm starting to vary some of the blocks so the same move isn't repeated over and over and over again.

15506  Jack Stuck.  Gold blocks are on. Jack is on the floor at the bottom right and can't jump over the gold bricks, can't climb the ladder because there's nothing at the top.

I'm trying to figure this one out. I have Jack in the bottom right corner, with gold blocks on, and I see a lever next to the gold blocks that can turn them silver. Am I not looking in the right place? Screenshot, please.

15509  Jack Stuck. Jack went to the right, re-entered 15509, gray door shut behind him and he couldn't jump across - the trigger for the platform for him to jump on is not turned on. fixed.

15909  Jack Stuck.  Gray doors are in the wrong position. Even with toggling gold/silver bricks, Jack doesn't have a way out.. Screenshot, please.

16506  Jack can't get the yellow key.  I think you forgot to include a blue bat platform, maybe?

I did forget to put it in the right location though - there are two holes in 16506. The one under the yellow key is fairly new, and should go all the way through but doesn't. blue platform is under the wrong hole - fixed.

16705  Did you mean for the lever behind the purple door to turn off the zapper in front of the left pole? Right now it doesn't do anything.

Fixed. Too many of these things aren't hooked up like I remember them being. I know it's frustrating for you, but it's also extremely frustrating for me, since I can remember hooking them up. Perhaps copy/paste, save as... has not been my friend. There were many times where I was playing with something, so I'd save a backup copy of a room, while experimenting, then
restore
by deleting the experiment and saving the backup room back into it's original location after I was done messing around.

That sounds good, will make it less tedious.

I will modify it so that the lever to the left of that zapper switches off all zappers in the room for good. It takes a bit of work to get here, so it seems like a suitable reward.

Semi, Margherita, (and anyone else):

I fixed all issues reported in area 5 (where you are now Semi), plus many more not mentioned in that area, as I played through it again. I wouldn't recommend playing further in that area until the next update. You may end up reporting stuff that I addressed last night, but it's up to you.

Semi: what's your reaction to many of the changes I already made in area 4 with gold/silver blocks. Reasonable? Did they improve things? (aside from the bonus area, which still needs work). I did make one further change in Area 4 that will be in the next update.

In 15910, on the middle floor, just to the right of the second lever, there was a zapper that ran from the middle level up to the ceiling. I've moved the bottom node so that it is now only on the third floor. (I think this was how it was in Vern's original version). I think that's probably welcome after the pain in getting to this point.

Anyway, update later tonight. Thanks again both of you for all the help! Time to head off to the day job
