16900 - Normal
What I don't like about this room is that the purple key does not stay on the yellow brick when Jack re-appears after dying. Lets say it takes him many deaths to try to get that key, what a pain to always have to WAIT to drop the key again. It is so annoying. Only my opinion.

15102 - Normal
see pic, the coin on the left near Jack's head (from the ladder) you can barely see it in this shot as it is sideways, it can't be p/u 15704 - Normal The stars appear, so that means something, so Jack kills a few ghosts (no sure if he's suppose to), he did go down the ladder 1st, but nothing happened so he killed the ghost, then after a long while the skulls appear. Perhaps you could speed up the skulls appearing so as to eliminate the need to kill the ghosts?

16706 & 16707
I think that Jack is stuck between these 2 rooms. If Jack goes down the ladder on the right 1st, and leaps over to open the doors, he cannot get out of the area.

16507 - Normal
If Jack jumps onto the Bat Mobeil, and jumps to the 1st ledge above his head (on left) in the pic, he is stuck due to hidden door. The Bat Mobeil is way at the top, so Jack has to die to get down. Not Good if he is exploring. Ok, I finished testing this one, I hope that I did not miss anything, if I did, I am sure someone else will find it. Great Mansion. btw: I noticed that Beta 2 Mt. Peril is still open for testing in the Beta 3 testing forum.

There is no delay involved. The speed of when they appear is part of the game engine, nothing I can do about that. 676E786E66660F0 wrote: 16706 & 16707 I really didn't intend players to use that 'jump off the bottom of the ladder' without any ground' technique, because that is really something for custom mansion only. Sure, it makes things easier in many puzzles, but in ANY built in mansion that would not be the case. Anyway, see that gold coin you forgot to pick up? It makes a falling platform (which you're meant to use to stand on to use the ladder) appear. Nevertheless, I'll make it appear if you *somehow* make it by the doors without first triggering it. 424B5D4B43432A0 wrote: 16507 - Normal I'll make that falling platform spawn near that there ledge trigger sooner. 424B5D4B43432A0 wrote: Sorry, what? 5E5241545B56415A47520507330 wrote: Normal - Room 14902 Meh, I guess I can add another trap door to make it even harder but prevent this... it is normal, afterall.

I've been meaning to test this mansion myself for some time.
Mt. Peril Normal 16700 - Climbing down into this room changes the music, but climbing back up into the room above doesn't change it back. Also, the music used here is old music -- let's use a different track. (Either 1, 4, or 5-8. 4 will be replaced with something new eventually. 1 is a remix.) 17298 - Drawing bugs around the secret in this room (lower area) if Jack walks to the left or jumps. Same for room to the right, leading up to this secret. 15904 - I know this is Tobin's doing, but I'm going to say let's get rid of the grass over the lava. It's kinda cheap... looks like a floor, but isn't. 16303 - I accidentally hit the bird before solving the puzzle in this room. It instantly unlockedthe room, which disappointed me, since I hadn't solved the puzzle. Also, I then had to sacrifice Jack on the spider (upper-right) in order to get to the money behind the left gray door. (Since to get it, you must enter the room from the upper-right.) I don't know if there is any way to avoid this, or reduce the chances of this happening, for clumsy players such as myself… i.e. make the bird higher so jack is less likely to hit it, or maybe 2+ monsters Jack has to kill… not sure. Probably making the bird a little higher is the ideal solution, if it's practical. (I don't remember its current height.) Anyway, I stopped because I'm stuck. I have 1 red and 1 blue keys. On the map I see 1 green and 1 purple door. As well as a double-red door. Where am I supposed to go next? Am I missing something, or is this a mansion bug? I noticed that, around when I hit the first save point, I could've gone *up* the mountain, back to where I had originally entered it, instead of deeper down inside of it. Did I go the wrongdirection, and the game wasn't designed for me to go that route at this time? -Vern

To me, it doesn't really matter were you go; as long as you have the keys to go there and find every key in there -- if you miss one, well you won't be able to finish. Gives the player a bit more freedom on where to explore next, I guess. Tobin really can make really complicated key systems!
Seems to me with your keys you should head up from the room you accidentally killed that bird in and get that purple key, then go to the sets of doors in room 16104. It is a really tricky mansion, in terms of where keys go. With the yellow key and a blue key, you should head to the section over near the beginning.
