You can do it if you are willing to sacrifice a life, in the upper level enter from left drop into the lever area swap the doors then jump into the zapper beam and reappear on the far side of the door go back down and voila. This does seem like a cheap death to me though

I guess 16101 is the room I see from posts above that I have great difficulty with - it seems as if you can't get Jack to bend down and move enough to get to lower level, seems to be no way to get him to the red door (if I remember the color right)

This is on easy mode, haven't made it to the end yet -

If you're talking about the red door and not being able to reach it. This should be fixed in the next beta. Or are you talking somewhere els? The room number you gave is part of the kitchen area.

New at this, it appears to be on the very bottom right of the map of the mansion - lava flows, which you can't walk behind, so you have to jump across. In 2 different places you can not get Jack to fit to go to the lower level and reach the red door. It looks as if he should fit, but you can't get him to crouch and then move to enter the lower level. Where do you get the room #'s from?

You can see the room number if you hit command + D when in the game, and it should be in the top left corner.
