Oh no! I tried hard to avoid that one. Fixed it, and the same problem in Hard (amusingly, it didn't exist in Normal).

I agree with Anthony here. There are a few things in this mansion that I do think need revising, but I haven't had time to write about them yet. In general, I don't think players should ever be
forced
to use a shield, particularly on a walking skeleton. Unless a sign specifically tells them to or something obvious like that.

OK, I'll make the hint more obvious.

After what amount of modifications should one send you upated versions?

Easy - Room 16513...the grey platform Jack is standing on will not let him go back down to where he first stood on it.  This is NOT good.  Why?  My Jack had no room to p/u the red key in the room below (to the right) with the moving platforms.  So he went looking (exploring) for a monster to use up a shield so that he could go back & p/u the red key.
Now he has to go thru the entire section to get back to the red key.  This grey platform should go back down if Jack jumps on it.

Actually, a saddle bag allowing for more storage would sure come in handy at this point.

See in the 2nd pic.....Jack can't get down as the block is in the way, so he is on the grey rocks & the only way to get back down is to jump off to the right & swing immediately to the left to grab the vine in the room below (last pic) in order to go back to get the red key.  This is not good.

So the grey platform really should allow Jack to go back down to avoid all this trouble.

Easy - Room 16713

The lever in this room only allows for one pull. If Jack does not get on the platform & it goes to the top, it will not come back down. Therefore, Jack has to leave the room in order to reset the lever.

Wow, that is some thorough testing Smile I think I almost solved the problem. It involved using a blue platform, so that Jack may go back to where he came from. However, if he jumps on the platform to make it leave the room, but he stays in 16513, the problem will be the same. I will see what I can do about it, although I would rather simply hope the player doesn't do that Wink

As for adding a saddlebag, I'll think of it. There may be a reason why I give away so few (I can't remember).

Aaw, c'mon, the room border is just a few steps away!

Anyway, it got smoothed out because of how I fixed the above.

See 1st pic. It would be a nice option for the slide down pole (on the right) would be also accessible from the roof, rather than making Jack go all the way down the vines again. This way there are 2 choices. The long way or a short cut.

In the 2nd pic....the key always ends up back in the air if Jack leaves the room without p/u 1st.
Nothing major, but I am finding that the levers in most rooms have to be reset or pulled again if Jack goes exploring without taking advantage of the reason he pulled the lever in the 1st place.

Good idea, will raise the pole.

Ah oui tiens. That can be arranged, I don't mind. Will see to it tomorrow, time to sleep now.

Easy Room 15314

Jack can't get back down from the top ledge, to go back into room 15313 (room to the left) to get the bag of money which is hidden past the spiders.

Wait until all of us testing a mansion in the modes that we selected are thru testing it. Then send out the revised links to others who have not tested the same mansion. Why? Because when we become to familiar with the mansion we are working on, we will miss catching mistakes. It is thru being new to a mansion that we find more mistakes, by Jack exploring. yes? no? Just rotate us with different mansions after the changes have been made.

That is only my humble opinion.

Hi Toybox....

lolololol I just thought that I would mention it, because you wanted ALL input from beta testing. At the end of the day, it is still your decision. Smile
