Mansion Comments: Blackheart Keep
#11
Alan --

Just watched your movie. Did make note of a few rooms I should probably make a little easier on Normal. Thanks.

If you do run across more specific suggestions you want to write out, I'm all ears. :-)

I didn't find ALL the trasure in my first attempt
In my first play I didn't find the blue key (1), didn't open the door (2), can't catch the yellow key. In this case I missed the coin behind yellow door (3) but I finished the game reaching the main treasure room (4).

Ahhh, okay. Thanks for explaining. I think I will leave the mansion as-is. I didn't create this mansion, but it looks like the blue key you didn't get initially is meant to be a
secret
key of sorts -- one that, if you get it, you are rewarded with additional treasure that you would otherwise not get. Some see this as incentive to play the mansion again to find *all* the treasure the next time.

Missy -- Have just finished fixing the last of the bugs you reported. Good thorough testing!

I have played through it twice without finding the last yellow key for the yellow door in room 16297. A hint please. I have tried to find the keys in MLB but the map is always so small so I can't see the details. (One reason to that I don't try to build mansions myself, I need to see that map clearly)

I haven't so far seen any real problems. I do hate though when there is both yellow bricks and checkered bricks moving, to may bricks for a Normal version.

Just finished playing through the mansion on
normal
. Overall I thought it played at normal level.  There were a couple of challenging sections but I didn't think they were too challenging for normal. Good mansion and no bugs that I found.

The new editor tells me yellow keys are in these rooms:

15495, 15694, 16094, 16099, 16294

There are 6 yellow keys, so one of the rooms above must have 2. If the game needs to
hint
better as to one of these secrets, let me know which you think needs a more obvious hint. Although, I think part of the fun of exploring is finishing a mansion, and wanting to get a perfect score, and having to figure out just what you missed, and where!
