I used to know how to change signs, with the original editor, but how do you change them in the Expansion Pack and KEEP them changed ? If I type in the text I want on the sign EVERY sign (of the same size) in the mansion says the same thing. Am I completely missing something ?
If I have a small sign that says 'Keep Out' and I create another small sign that says 'Treasure Ahead', then both signs now read 'Treasure Ahead' and I have no 'Keep Out' sign.
Can anybody help me with this before I give up ?
thanks

Send me your mansion to vern [at sign] actionsoft [dot character] com
If it's a problem that's my fault, I'll fix it and send it back.

Gryphon girl. have you deleted a sign without first deleting the text within? Then this may happen.

That happened to me... it usually happens after you export your mansion from the old version to the expansion with the exp. editor.
Just delete the the sign that is repeating what the other one, without deleting the text first. Then just make the sign back with a new one, (Not copy then pasting from one, you'll end up with a sign clone again) and type your message back!
Happened to me before.

Yeah, there might be a problem when importing old mansions that had signs. If you do this, I recommend opening up the mansion file with a resource editor, and deleting the old TEXT resources. (But copy and save their contents into a text file first.) Then use the new editor to re-create those signs, and paste the text back in from what you saved. Then it should work from there on out.
