Beta 2: General Discussion

Vern,

If you need any help with testing that stuff let me know. I'm an Apple Developer (RGBC) and have iPods and when Apple decides to finish them am waiting on my 4G iPad. Are you using Torque? I also am using that software for a few less ambitious games (mainly for Matt).

I believe Vern made Insectoid with Torque 2D, not sure about his future plans though.

It would make sense as Torque is already cross platform as well as having an iPod IDE. As a matter of fact the Torque Debugger (Torsion) which is virtually indispensable is Windows only.
Whoops sorry testers, just digressing here.....

I won't be using Torque for Midnight Mansion, and probably not for any future games either. Torque for iPhone is horrible. It's really really slow, and apps made with it take forever to load. Or so I hear from the developers unfortunate enough to have used it.

My own experiences with Torque for Insectoid have really turned me off to the company. I reported bugs years ago that still haven't been fixed. That's not cool in my book.
