Hello there.....

..... just dropped by - after a very long hiatus - and stumbled upon this.

As you have found out by yourself by now:
Perseverance is the key (apparently).... 8-)

Hi aquamat, welcome back! There's still stuff happening here- check out the new mansion
Hanging Gardens of Babylon,
and an easy version of Yellow Sub (which has some cool new additions) is coming soon. Rumor has it there's also another mansion almost ready for beta testing  [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]

Thanks, Josephine !

I had already seen that there is a new mansion.... and have already downloaded it, but not played it yet.

Even if I am lucky enough to still have my old G5 (running Mac OS 10.4) in use (in the studio), I do mainly use my MacBook Pro (with 10.7.4) these days.....  which pretty much single-handedly ended my mansion-designing days.
And this - alas - is also the reason why I haven't yet played HGoB.... as it is a HD-Mansion and I don't own a full HD-version of MM.

It's all so sad.......   Sad

With one exception I haven't played MM at all for more than a year now.....  and I remember the many years where I spent several hours each day visiting the forums, designing, testing and playing MM.

However.....  the newly released mansion reminded me of the fact that I have at least 3 or 4
almost-completed
mansions for both, MM1 and MM2 lying around.... which I never finished properly.

With at least some of them it's probably a shame.....   and maybe one day I summon enough energy and will-power to at least finish them to at least a playable BETA-stage or something.
So they wouldn't be completely lost to mankind....   Wink  8-)

HGoB is NOT an HD mansion. It is an MM2 mansion. There is a way to play MM1 and MM2 and work in the builders in 10.7 and beyond but it is rather slow. Check this thread, reply #5:

Oh.... it's not ???

I was under the impression - because when - after downloading - I pressed cmd-I (Information) it said:
Midnight Mansion HD Document
!!

So if it's not.... I can just transfer it to my old MAC and play it there with MM2..... very well indeed !

Thx, brell.
