Stuck in Ultimate maze Please help
#1
I apologize for asking for help...I know I got through this before but I cannot remember what the tip was so if someone could please pm me I'd appreciate it, and spoilers are welcomed I'm just getting frustrated now and want to escape.

Somewhat related, the Map is not working for me in the hd version it is sooooo slow that i cannot use it, has anyone else had this problem? It so far is only with the larger mansions and this certainly qualifies. I don't have a blazing fast computer, but i'm not sure if that is the problem here.

iMac OS 10.6.8
2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB RAM

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!

There are 2 different paths you need to follow. To change paths, you need to get up to either the top left or top right corner. Stay on the ladder and let Jack's feet dangle below the ghost platform. When it reappears, Jack can drop down onto the other ghost platform and proceed with the other part. You're going to have to do this more than once, because of all the keys. Good luck!

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the map does slow down in larger mansions. And MM&M is HUGE!

Thanks for the link, I actually read that thread before I posted and I'm sure I must be missing something terribly obvious because it does nothing for me.
If the hint involves using the map I guess I'll have to go back to the pre HD version because it takes me about 10 minutes to scroll from one side to the other in this maze and thats just one level not going up or down at all.

Love this castle, but I've not much hair left at this pointSmile

Thanks, that should do it.

Yeah I guess its my iMac its a few years old but I do have the non hd version so I can fire up that and do a screen cap...feels kinda like cheating but it helps.

I don't think it is your computer. My MacBook Pro is a little slower than your iMac and I have not encountered any slow maps.

Have you played the HD version of MM&M with no slow down of maps?  It is only with the hd version and large maps that it happens for me.

Because if you have a slower mac and do not have problems with the hd version then it must be my computer.

Yes, I have played the HD version. I was on the testing team too. I have played Midnight Mazes and Monsters but didn't finish it because I got to the maze with red bricks and I hate it. I didn't notice any delay or slow down when looking at the maps.

I just started playing it again (HD) yesterday, out of curiosity, and so far I haven't had any map slowdowns.
