I'd say change the ghost platforms back, and leave the retracting platforms the way you've changed them. That way it provides a decent compromise, and makes the behavior for each type distinct. I actually think that might be best, since it gives designers options and doesn't really take anything away.

Also, there's a clear path to fixing any issues if custom mansions depending on the previous functionality. Just switch to the other type of platform (Pretty much the same suggestion is on the ghost platform topic).
What do you mean by retracting platforms? I have always thought of these platforms as thick vs. thin ghost platforms.
Anyway I'd rather have it as it is now than to change one of the platforms back to the original settings as that could cause new problems when Jack is supposed to jump between rooms from one platform to another.

Eh. Well I've already changed it. The
thick
platforms don't reset when you move between rooms. The
thin
ones (metal ones) do. As of beta 7 (unreleased).

OK Smile

Then the only hing that builders need to check is that Jack jumps from a
thick
platform in one room to a
thick
one in the next room.

Good, at long as it's not a problem, then that's great. :-)
