15497 - Normal

- Here is an interesting problem, where did the green key drop to?  Jack went to below level, but key is not there.
- Also, before he pulled the lever, the yellow platform could not go left due to yellow column.  Jack tested falling from lever shelf & when re-appeared yellow platform disappeared.  hmmm,  I think that the yellow platform should remain for Jack to p/u the coins.
- Ok, I explored the entire lower level & have only 1 green key,  but I need 2.  Where did that green key fall to in my 1st question?   ANSWER:  You can't find it when it falls.  After you change the yellow bricks back to solid the key will reappear back where it was.  But, if you take that yellow platform again, after you make the bricks invisible & try to p/u the coins this time & Jack falls & reappears, the yellow platform disappears again.  NOT GOOD!

16700  Short - cut for blue key in room below.  If Jack falls off the grey bricks near map, then he automatically p/u blue key.   hmmmm

You have to try to find a way to get up there on the yellow platform while the gold bricks are there. Don't worry, I'm making it more normal to find how to do this.

... but Jack dies at the same time? So it's a win-lose scenario, bringing the balance of fairness back to 0? Wink

Well, I avoided this in one of Jacob's mansions by putting a moving platform (speed 0) above the key, and a hidden trigger above that, in a place where Jack would never hit the trigger unless he were falling from the room above. The trigger makes the platform appear, and the platform breaks his fall, so he can't hit the key below it. The trigger is set to *not* be permanent, so it goes away when you re-enter the room. It's an odd solution, but works. :-)

In this situation, I've decided to rearranged the platforms near the key in question so that if you do jump, Jack shall fall onto a yellow platform.

If you notice there are many times in Jasperlone I've thought of players doing this, and had some trouble making sure they can't do this. You may notice some random zapper beams that don't really have a reason... well, there you have it, to prevents sneaky players. Tongue
