Surely I am not stuck again!
#1
Hi all,
I am in the Mansion Family MindMines game - I have a feeling I am stuck, and will need to replay from the beginning.
Here's where I am:
Room 16502 - apparently, i made the mistake of coming down from above (as you should) without re-settin the magic blocks from gold back to silver (on gold now). So, i went ahead and played on, going BELOW (into the red area), and below to the right (area with three ladders and all that relates). I've gone as far as i could, and it looks like i must now go back to Room 16502 (where i am at now) and proceed to the right (I guess there's a room to the left too, but the gold blocks are in the way). BUT I cannot get up the hill on the right, because again, the blocks are gold and not silver.

So, is there a way to switch blocks to silver, or am I right in having to re-start the game? :-?
Thank you for any help in advance.

Hi d,

From 16502, you can proceed to the right, no matter what color the bricks are. Jump up on the vine and then jump right onto the middle section, below the skull spider. You can then jump down onto the yellow tiles above the red section and proceed to the right.

It's true that in TMF - Mind Mines you will NEVER come across a situation where you have to go back to an earlier room, just because you didn't
re-set
the gold/silver blocks. (That would be really bad design, I reckon.) In fact you do not have to re-set the gold / silver blocks (in 16302) at all.

So thanks Semi-Native for answering that one.... however I do not understand what you mean by
yellow bricks
??
Are there any yellow bricks at all (in the pre-XP version of MM) ?   Undecided :o

aquaMat, I meant the regular tiles that Jack is walking on in Room 16502. I guess they're not really yellow, but yellowish brown?

Ooh...you mean the
earth bricks
(as I call them)!?! (
Earth
in German (
Erde
) does not only refer to the world (planet), but also to the
ground
on which we're walking..... Flowers need
Erde
to grow in, for example....)

I remember Wingy used to call them
Dirt
.... Wink

I also use
