What about JS leftovers?

I am sure that there are still some JS, HJS and cd situations left in the old cm's that havent been found. Let's say we get a JS report but we cannot reach the original builder to have him/her fix it. What shall we do? My opinion is that we should try to fix it in such a way that it does not affect the playing value of the room/mansion. Speaking for myself as an author: If someone reports a JS in one of my mansions and I cannot be reached I'd like the admins to fix the JS because:
1. It was not intended
2. IMO, when I release a cm, I am also giving the admins the license to fix situations like JS's so long as the playing value is not affected.

Agreed. If the original builder cannot be reached, then we should fix it. If the OB then comes back to the forum and wants to do another solution, then he or she can submit an update.
