Game hang up after saving

There seems to be a temporary freezing of the game after saving on some pedestals. I noticed this behavior several times and, unfortunately, did not make note of the mansions/rooms before. It just happened to me in Leofani Manor Normal in room 16501. Previously, after a very long pause, the game continued. But at the moment my game seems to be frozen in this room. It happens just before

the angels sing

. My saved game is in the folder but I cannot continue. Assume I will need to quit and then open my saved game to continue.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Ok, so I hit escape to try to quit and then the

angels sang

and I am able to continue.

Yeah that sometime happens, but apparently pausing the game and resuming fixes it, so it's not much of an issue.

Actually when I've had it paused for a long time is when I notice it. I start back up and it takes awhile for it to get back to speed.
