Forum Updates
#1
Hi guys, I just went through the forums and did the following for the release of MM2:

• Changed the news
• Put together a new header (for now it will be like that; the featured mansion thing will happen once we get some mansions)
• Added a new category for MM2's game.
• Changed the Custom Mansion category to accommodate both MM1 and MM2 custom mansions.
• Other little things

Suggestions? Any typos or bugs? Can you reply/start a new topic on all of the boards? Let me know here!

Hey Wingy and all.  I have downloaded MM2 and begun... a little of the included but already well into one of the MM2
custom mansions
- Trigger Island.  Was going to write a bit about it on the forum - but no place for it... yet!  Just thought I'd let you know.

It's interesting  Wink - if truth be told (!), I'm such an old fashioned girl, I like the original MM best of all, but maybe it's just because 1) I'm used to it and 2) I don't do
change
very well.  Oh - it took me twice
around
to find the
entrance
to the
town
!    Undecided

I made an area in the custom mansion area for MM2 talk. You can talk about any mansion that is custom-- and in this case just the extra mansions that come with the game. Tongue

When you are logged in you can see all of the posts you made of these categories and changes, but you do not see them if you are not logged in. I also don't see any new posts posted under these categories.

When I'm not logged in and I go to the
Forum Jump
, I can access the MM2 area but when I click on one of the categories, for example Included Mansions, I get a message saying
You do not have access to this section.
It all works fine when I'm logged in.

There might be a problem with the Group Permissions setup on the new boards. Anthony, could you check this out?

Never mind, Anthony. I just went in to the new boards and fixed the Group Permissions. Catwoman, could you check it out and see if that corrected the problem?

Yep, that fixed it. All working fine now. Smile

Hi, Suz - long time no hear from you.... glad you're back!
Trigger Island has gone thru a lengthy public beta testing period (like all other MM2 mansions, too) and so has been discussed here quite frequently.
I am sure those old T.I. threads are still somewhere - but apparantly they got moved (see Anthony's post below).

Where to, I don't know either, though....   Undecided    :-[

Oh well.... that happens occasionally...!

BTW, with some of the MM2 innovations I've had to come to terms myself too - even though I've first seen them as far back as the
Level Design Contest
, for which Trigger Island was originally created.

Suztours, there will be a board for Trigger Island soon, but meanwhile feel free to post about it in the general MM2 custom mansion talk board.
