The room that had all the eyes and trapdoors towards the end (area 5). The gray door in the middle should be closed when Jack starts that screen, but I was doing some checking there, and I'm afraid I may have left it set to open. If you mean 16507, it's okay, it's closed. I think that's it - I really can't verify room numbers from work. I don't have access to any of code, but thanks again - I was just taking a few minutes to check in. Re: Final Candidate 1: All Comments Go Here - jamesbolton@cox.ne - 08-26-2010 ok in Castle Basano normal I start from a spot that I cannot get to 15889. I am in the dirt under the third clump of grass from the left. Any one else had this issue, or should I just re-install Regards Jim I took a movie but it doesn't show me where I started
Re: Final Candidate 1: All Comments Go Here - Wingy - 08-26-2010 Ah, that's a bug. I re-positioned Jack to test something and forgot to put him back ontop of the hill there. Vern, if you don't mind, put Jack ontop of the hill in his starting room in Castle Basano Normal. I checked all my other mansions, they have the correct location. Re: Final Candidate 1: All Comments Go Here - VernJensen - 08-26-2010 So is the starting room supposed to be 15889 then?? Is that all I have to change, the starting room number? (It's currently set to 15890.) I've already released the game... so if I am to correct this, it'll be in a 1.0.1 release. Re: Final Candidate 1: All Comments Go Here - VernJensen - 08-26-2010 Hey all, in case you haven't noticed, the game is out in the wild now! Check out www.actionsoft.com I'll be sending out news to the mailing list shortly. And, once again - a HUGE thank-you to all the testers! You guys have really put in 1000%! The game wouldn't be what it is today without you. Thank you for your hard work! Re: Final Candidate 1: All Comments Go Here - VernJensen - 08-26-2010 Oh, also: if anyone feels inclined to rate the game on Download.com: http://download.cnet.com/Midnight-Mansion-2-The-Haunted-Hills/3000-7433_4-75274556.html It's feeling a little bareright now without any ratings! The position in the room that is already the starting room. You can still play the level just fine, it's just where Jack starts he can't get to that first little bonus area at the beginning. He's meant to be up on top of the cliff. I'll change the header of the forums.[smiley=beer.gif] Re: Final Candidate 1: All Comments Go Here - VernJensen - 08-26-2010 Another place where Midnight Mansion 2 looks bare without any ratings yet: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/35147/midnight-mansion-2%3a-the-haunted-hills Re: Final Candidate 1: All Comments Go Here - Wingy - 08-27-2010 I don't suppose it's too late to report a typo in the About Screen... Under my name it says Jasperlone Mountain when it's Mountains. Doesn't matter in the least though, just thought it was funny.
