Re: What kind of Mac do you have? - hawaii - 09-26-2008 Hey Guys, What is Ram? and Do I have enough of it? see above post for details. Re: What kind of Mac do you have? - brell - 09-26-2008 RAM is Random Access Memory. You have 1 GB, 2 is better. Re: What kind of Mac do you have? - hawaii - 09-26-2008 Thanks Brell, but does that affect game playing? If one does not save to many things.....is 2 necessary? so far, I haven't noticed that I missing anything......I think. Re: What kind of Mac do you have? - brell - 09-27-2008 Are you happy with your computer's speed? If yes, don't buy more RAM Re: What kind of Mac do you have? - Lara - 09-27-2008 hawaii wrote: Thanks Brell, but does that affect game playing? The only thing I have noticed with MM since my upgrade is that choosing a saved mansion doesn't take as long. My rainbow wheel would whirr for about ten seconds before I upgraded. : But that was my fault for not upgrading my RAM straight away when I went from 10.4 to 10.5. Bad Mac user!!! ![]() Re: What kind of Mac do you have? - hawaii - 09-27-2008 Thanks Lara, Then no, I do not have a problem, my downloads are as quick as a blink of an eye in most cases. Since I am pretty green at using the computer, I guess I have enough of what ever it has. Thank you again. Re: What kind of Mac do you have? - Semi-Native - 09-27-2008 With computers especially, the old saying is really good advice... If it ain't broke, don't fix it. ![]() |
