Think I got a JS in foggy forest, opened both purple doors in 13698 before opening the gray door in 13699, so when I came into 13699 down below I couldn't get out, and I couldn't get up anywhere in 13698... is there a solution to this? [without restart of course ]

A lot of games ALWAYS end with GAME OVER. And then the player is free to start a new attempt. Or not.<br />

In Midnight Mansion we are very used to 'visit' mansions with a serious stress on the exploration factor. There is nothing wrong with it. But for once and only once, I wanted to make a mansion as close to the edge as possible.<br />
<br />
It is therefor that <span style="color: #ff9900;">A Tale of One City</span>:<br />
- is pretty hard;<br />
- does not contain a lot of money;<br />
- has only one saving point at the end of each section.<br />
<br />
For the players who reached the exit yet, they will have noticed the message on the BBB (brown blackboard). The green area will be built up in a completely different way. But it will force players even more to restart (from the 1st saving point). 8-)

Toybox modified exactly 17 % 8-) of his <span style="color: #ff9900;">Orpheus</span>. And also added a new interesting feature in 'room 5'. : :o<br />

Btw, it is my fault that the mansion wasn't called <blockquote>Octopus Mansion /easy</blockquote>, while a normal (hard?) version was announced yet. But I can't change the name any more, because otherwise all saved game files shouldn't be working any longer. Sorry about that, Olle. :-[

Friends of unfair mansions, rejoice! Here comes an update of Infernal Runner, the unreasonable version of Orpheus (which also has an update on the way).<br />

In this new version, the shamefully Normal room has been replaced by one containing a new insidious trick [smiley=evil.gif]

Made this little mansion to try out the builder, it's working <blockquote>fine</blockquote> [just played it with 76% secrets and 76000+ of the 86000+ in gold]<br />
It has a few cd I think, probably some JS too even if I haven't found'em yet As you can see if you play it, I used one or two rooms in the Octopus Mansion
