As you all may know, Insectoid was released Nov. 4th. I've tried to promote the game as best as I can, but it still seems few people know about it -- the number of downloads on the various download sites is very very low. For instance, Download.com generated a mere 26 downloads for Insectoid *since its release*. <br />

I was hoping to wait until end users played the game, and get excited about it and post reviews on the various sites, but since practically no one seems to even know about the game, this isn't happening. I could use some help just getting star ratings started on the various sites. Here are links to a few of Insectoid's listings below. If you have a few minutes, it would help me out a ton if you could create a user account at one of the sites below, and post a star rating / review of Insectoid. (Obviously I'm hoping for the best rating they allow, to encourage new users to download the game, but you can post whatever you think is appropriate.) <br />

Room 22097, If Jack enters this room (via the ladder) without the blue, key, the bricks won't let him get back down to search for it.<br />

I've started to edit some sprites for MM but there is one problem that I'm having, the LD refuses to run whenever any of the sprites include my red rupee, it has no problem with my green rupee I designed which has the same dimensions and file type/size. Please could someone help me here?<br />

46 of our members have an avatar. And all together we 'produced' 682 attachments.

Since I found out about how to make a dmg-file myself, I am thinking of relaunching a topic where especially new members may download all CMs at once.<br />
<br />
The dmg-file is 58,4 MB. One needs 1,89 GB (yes!!) of disk space for all 115 approved custom mansions.<br />
<br />
I am interested in your opinions. And hope that someone will check if the dmg-file works properly.

I think that I need to give a word of explanation about why this board is under maintenance and the mansion-zipfile at the downloadpage for <span style="color: #ff6600;">A Tale of One City</span> got removed.<br />

In the first and so far the only finished area, there was a wing that I felt very unhappy about. Some of the rooms over there were extremely boring. Besides that, the added customized backgrounds and music felt completely wrong.<br />
<br />
So I did my homework again and created a drastically changed wing. Gets beta-tested right now. The consequence of it, is that I can't just update to version 2.0, because the original amount of dollars, secrets and keys did change. And of course I want our members to walk (euphemism) through the red area again.<br />
<br />
That is why I also moved the saving pedestal and gave the mansion a new name: <span style="color: #ff6600;">Oline's Coffeehouse</span>. Btw, that is the nice spot where the interMactivity-group of Brugge gathers on Friday.<br />

Out of respect for all members who reached that previous saving point, I will move the whole topic and download-file from <span style="color: #ff6600;">A Tale of One City</span> to the Free Up- and Downloading Area.<br />

The release of <span style="color: #ff6600;">Oline's Coffeehouse</span> will be after finishing the second section and the testing of both areas.

Using version 1.8.1 with OS 10.5.1, Spider Palace Easy beginning stage, the secret space located in the rooms accessed through the lower right gateway is not recorded, the similar secret area located in the rooms accessed through the lower left gateway is record as a secret found. So I'm not able to have recorded that I found 100% of the secrets. Thanks for a great game that I still enjoy playing after many years.

If Jack jumps LEFT from the skull in room 14891 to 14890 and lands on that big block with the knight on it, he can jump to his death to his hearts content, but he will always re-appear on top of that block.<br />

One minor fix to prevent Jack from jumping over a blue door without using a key.<br />
