Hi all,

I have been playing some of the wonderful mansions you guys have created, and I am very thankful for that, these are absolutely thrilling, but I can't open any of the saved files of these mansions, they are saved in a folder named
A
, which is saved in
Saved games
folder where all other included mansions' saved files are also there.
When i try to open any of the saved file, which is of a custom mansion, it says -

The mansion file A could not be found, please make sure this mansion is in the Custom Mansions folder and try again

I tried changing names of this folder A, and the saved file itself, but nothing works, I am not too much of a technology savvy, sorry if this question is some normal silly one, but can anyone look into this and help me?

Ps - I use Windows 10.

Hi there,

today I downloaded the DoD mansion which was not HD ready. So I got
Rezycle
and converted the original mansion. I know, that the graphics (picts) are not HD ready, but I love this mansion for the music and the hidden tricks in it!
So what about the Music? If you want to hear the great DoD
background music, you have to convert the mp3's to .ogg files (I did it with Amadeus Pro) and put them in the Music folder inside the MM App. (Right click on the application -> show package and then into Contents->Resources->Game Data->Music.
So it works great and I'm enjoying this great mansion with great background music.
(ok, it's a lot more fun with the individual pics, but this seems to be much more work)
Best,

www.actionsoft.com/files/mm/LevelBuilder1.2.2.zip

To quote Vern:

If you get the latest version of the Level Builder (1.2.2) there is an option to turn off shadows and glows for keys and coins, I think on both a per-mansion basis, and individually.

It does not run on Lion however, and you must
export
mansions to the HD format after editing. It adds to the work, but it's still at least possible to edit mansions if you have OS X 10.6 or earlier. See the FAQ (linked elsewhere on the forums) for info on how to export to the HD format.

Oh and also, it would be good for custom mansion designers to use the new abilities in the 1.2.2 editor to fix problems in their mansions with the HD version. (For instance, some bricks that are used to hide things and cast shadows that shouldn't -- shadows should be disabled in these rooms.)

All HD custom mansions players please note:
Some of the CM's were uploaded as a zipfile plus a readme file within a folder containing the mansion's name. In these instances you have to move the zipped file to the top level of your Midnight Mansion HD Custom Mansions folder to be able to play it, zipped or unzipped.
Other CM's were uploaded as zipfiles just containing the CM. This zipfile must be placed at the top level of the Midnight Mansion HD Custom Mansions folder and played from there, zippedor unzipped.
I have received some complaints about non-working CM's, producing some error codes when the MM1 HD tries to open them. Please check whether the CM you are trying to play is indeed at the top level of your Midnight Mansion HD Custom Mansions folder. If they are there you can play them zipped or unzipped.
I do not have any problems playing the HD ready CM's on the list.

Other mansion, which need more reconstruction to work in the HD (as those with custom graphics) are not converted and uploaded until the authors have fixed them.
