Unusual start for a new Mansion - Surcouf - 07-15-2008 Hi everybody, working on a 80 rooms-Mansion after Warrior and Sarkozyland, and about to finish it, I need some MMers' advices... My first idea is to begin this Mansion by a sort of teaser which means a last-chance-Jackafter loosing 6 lives, then a save-pedestal and a new start onto the whole Maansion. I thought this was original, but I was told by Aquamat (my favorite beta-tester:-)) this idea is a bit tedious ( ...drove me nuts!). From collective advice, can I keep this idea on? I attach the incriminated Mansion's part. Thank you. Re: Unusual start for a new Mansion - Semi-Native - 07-15-2008 Hmm, I wouldn't do that. It's frustrating and might discourage people from wanting to play the mansion. Maybe you could throw in some shields that are a challenge to get to, but possible? Looking forward to playing the finished mansion, though. Re: Unusual start for a new Mansion - Surcouf - 07-15-2008 Maybe you could throw in some shields that are a challenge to get to, but possible?Yeah, that's a good idea, Semi-Native! I work on it! ThX! S. Re: Unusual start for a new Mansion - leo - 03-15-2009 Hi Surcouf! This reply is a little late. I just wanted to let you know that I would have loved this start, because I would have been able to start off Daedalus with 12 lives. Here's the screen-shot: ![]() If you want, I'll let you know how I did it. Re: Unusual start for a new Mansion - leo - 03-23-2009 Well, I just realized that everybody can get 12 lives if they pull the lever for the gold only after saving in 14488. I should mention that I only lost one life in getting to this point, though. |
