Testing Mansion listed ! - Freddy - 09-20-2007
Now downloadable at the three lists.
Testing Mansion is young Nick's first creation. To have no misunderstandings: this is not a mansion with designtests ... It is a serious mansion to test yourself!
In over 60 rooms you will find 3 different tests to check your ability to solve puzzles, avoid sprites ... And there is also a fun path back to the testing lobby.
Be aware! Like in all other mansions, you start with 6 Jacks and there are only dollars at the end of each test. So you better take care! 8-)
Enjoy! And I await a screenshot from the first player that finished this new mansion with all secrets and the $ 3.200.

Wow, now that there have been *three* releases of mansions in the past few weeks, I think I'll make a original mansion... I haven't touched the original map editor since the contest began! :o I might have to read the read-me of the Level builder again because it's been so long! :
I think I'll make a castle... nah, been working on one for awhile and can't stand it.... maybe... a cave? Nah. Maybe... a.... mansion? Yes, I'll make a mansion! A mansion that looks like a mansion when you hit the map screen! Hmm.... I'll have to start it in my spare time.... :
Oh yeah, congratulations on the testing mansion having it's own section! Make a sequal!

I am thinking about a sequal, and no I don't think any custom mansions are based on a mansion.
Anyway I just sent an update of the Testing Mansion to Freddy.

Umm... Testing mansion 2...? With like convayor belt things, zapper beam things, and gold/silver block things...? Or did you put those in your mansion already? (Sorry, didn't take the time to play it all the way through yet)

BTW:
This whole
mansion based on a mansiondiscussion above, I think, goes back to the fact that, while usually custom mansions are
buildingswith different rooms, passages, doors leading to otrher areas etc., the Testing Mansion is basically just a few series of the same room repeated endlessly, but increasingly stuffed with hardships and creatures.
While that might also have a certain charm (and challenge), it is not, IMO, a mansion in the true sense.
