House of Wonders - nancygevans - 07-07-2007
In room 15497, I know it is necessary to fly off the platform toward the left and
exit the room from above. I can't seem to make it! How about a hint to help
my flying capabilities?

OK I used my brain for a change and worked in the room next door.
I guess that's the answer, no flying necessary!

I am redoing this mansion because I finished but I know I missed most of it.
I cannot find a way to proceed to the left from room 16094. It's dark and I can't
find my way out to the left. I know I must go up through the zapper with the gold
coins but can't find a way. Hint please! If I can go on to the left it will open up many
of the rooms I've been missing (I think). And I know I need a rugsack to hold more
keys.

There is a rugsack in this area. But not to the left.
Did you enter # 16094 in the upper right corner? Then I suggest to continue FIRST on that top floor to the left. The silver coins are there to help you. Take care. As you said, HoW is pretty hard. So in this dark room you can NOT reach all prizes at once! An other entrance may be needed ...

I proceeded before to the left from 16094 on the top level. I
can only go a few rooms over to 16090 and can't continue. It
seems I need the rugsack and purple and blue keys before I get
to room 16696. I can go on up from the lever maze to the right
of 16095 but eventually I come back to where I started. Then I
go down the pole and eventually end up in the room with all
the doors. Am I missing a hint that could help me uncover
more rooms and a rugsack?

At SEVERAL places in this mansion. When you are in # 16095 do NOT search in the small area to the left, but search in the much larger section to the right. The place where you may find the rugsack is hinted. And that is one of the main differences between HoW and the previous WiP. So, as long as you didn't find the rugsack, don't take the pole down in # 16296 !
