I heard back from an Apple engineer today. The issue that was preventing Midnight Mansion HD from being submitted to the Mac App Store should be easily resolvable. So I will be releasing beta 5 either tonight or tomorrow hopefully, and likely submitting the same version to the Mac App Store. If any major bugs are found in beta 5, I'll cancel the submission process, but otherwise beta 5 will become the release version.
We will still continue to do beta 6, 7, and so on, because I need to keep adding features for the ActionSoft website version of the game (features that allow existing owners of the game to upgrade for about $5), and continue to add other improvements, like maybe better handling of saved games.
