Sometimes, probably when the application has been working for quite a while I get a faint clicking sound together with the jumping sound. I can't show it through the video. The sound doesn't get recorded.
Starting the application anew and the clicking sound will disappear, until next time. :

Could you describe this clicking sound in more detail? i.e. is it a one-time click, or a click that continues? If it continues, it continues until you quit the game???
I'm aware of a problem with a faint clicking sound being in one of the footstep sounds -- this is a problem with one of the footstep sound effects containing a flaw in it. I still have yet to fix this... it'll take just recording a new footstep sound.

It is a faint clicking when Jack is jumping. My Jack doesn't always walk but jump like a kid forward.
At first I thought is appeared when I had been playing a mansion quite a while but today it was at the beginning and after awhile it disappeared.
You probably wont hear it if you have the music on, which I don't as it is to loud compared with the sound effects.

I think I've found a workaround for this. Please test in the next beta version and let me know if it's fixed on your system.

Vern, I have encountered the clicking sound again. This time in Castle Doom hard. I also hear when the Zapper beams are on a high pitch noise I don't recognise. I am attaching two QuickTime movies where you can hear the sounds.

Restarted the Castle Doom Hard and this time there wasn't any clicking or high pitch sounds.

Rose -- no update has been released since you reported this. You'll have to wait until beta 5 is out to see if I fixed it.
