Beta1 crashes when I create a new Profile [Fixed: Beta2] - RobSeegel - 06-29-2011
I decided not to import any of my old stuff, and start fresh. So, when I went to create a new profile, the game hung momentarily then crashed. I'll send the crash info via email and go through as many other screens as I can.
Update: Vern fixed this in Beta2.
Update2: Regression tested for Beta3 (passed)

OK, I manually created the following directory under my home directory:
Library/Application Support/ActionSoft/Midnight Mansion
And my profile is created fine with no application crash.

I haven't had that problem, however for some reason, all the saved data disappears after I quit the game, including the highscores, users, completed mansions and replays

All that stuff should be created/saved fine once you create the directories I mentioned.

I moved the ActionSoft directory I'd created, so I was starting out the same way I'd been starting before with Beta1. I fired up Beta2, and tried to create a profile.
The Midnight Mansion directory and all related artifacts underneath were created as expected - no crash. This topic should now be locked/closed.
