I have been everywhere I can get to - I have entered the black area from the left....I can't seem to reach the lantern.....
Any ideas on how to get this?

What room are you in? Hit Command + D and the room number will be in the upper left.

I've gone over the entire mansion several times, and it appears to me that there is a total of 8 yellow doors, but only 7 yellow keys. I concluded that if one opens the left yellow door in 16301 to access the treasure and save monument in 16300, then one can't open the yellow door in 16704 to access the rest of the treasure vault. Am I all wet?

seawinder, I just checked and there are 9 yellow keys and 9 yellow doors.

If I remember correctly, the way down into the
basementfrom the
churcharea (to the right of the graveyard) is different in Mt. peril Easy than it is in normal. Look for the *red candle* near the *entrance* of the church, and go down.

I followed - I think it was seawinder's tip about the red candle - and got the yellow key in room 16105 - that I was originally stuck on - but I was able to complete the mansion - but there was another yellow door in 16704 that I couldn't find the key to.
