Some of the forum categories (like this one) have only the option
start new polland not
new topic, which is strange...
Also, I would personally like to be able to view more than 30 latest posts, used to be upper limit of 100

) so now you can post new threads. Please let us know if you find more boards where you cannot start new posts.I have also changed the max number of view recent posts.
