Wrong icon on the mansions - rose - 08-30-2010
Hi!
I get the wrong icon on the mansions. If I change the icon in the Get info window I get error message that I have change the mansion. This is irritating. Can this be changed?

That is the right new icon for mansions.

It is? I loved the old one. I also have had the new one contaminate other files at two times. That is why I have thought something was wrong.

When a new version of a game is released, their type of files are updated. Sorry, but you'll just have to get used to change.

As long as it stop change other files too. I had to do a secure restart to get rid of the icon from my .flv and .mp4 movies. The old icon never did impose it self on files it shouldn't.

Hmmm, that's strange... it changed movie file icons on you?
As for why the mansions no longer work if you change their icon manually... that's just part of the protection to keep people from changing the mansions so they can get ridiculously high scores to post to the high scores list. It helps protect the scores and keep it fair. But ANY change to the mansion file affects this protection and disables play.

What's also a little strange is it didn't change any of my icons. Hmmm.... I still have the older ones from MM.
