Easy

At this point, it seems as if the only issues left are small superficial things. Huge mansion - larger than I expected it to be. Also, slightly harder than I expected for Easy though there was plenty of treasure and save points to counter any difficulty. I ended up with over 20 lives (before I hit the treasure vault). If it wasn't for all the extra lives I think this probably could have passed for Normal in some other mansions. Overall was a very satisfying mansion to complete.

16505 - In the middle wall/column, below the curtains there's a brick that looks out of place. Is there a layering problem here?

16120 - Just noticed something odd, on this room, I walked all the way to the right and jumped off screen (to Jack's death). When that happens, there's a little strip that flashes above the water, and continues to flash until play starts again. Probably some minor glitch in the game - and not anything to do with the mansion. Seems harmless.

Normal

Nice mansion. Seemed to go much faster in Normal version - probably because the routes were still fresh in my mind from the Easy version. It even caused me to double-check the room count. Had fun with this one. As before, wasn't able to find much in the way of problems.

15512 - Why hide the key? Dangling it out of reach is just about as good. Some people may waste a life trying to jump for it, when the trigger would cause it to fall.

16707 - Jack can enter 16706 from the lower walkway. This doesn't seem right, especially since he cannot simply turn around and walk back the way he came from.

Yes, a stray piece of layer 6 border. Fixed.

Most peculiar. I will repost this in the General thread.

It would be a good idea, but I don't see how to do it easily :-? I don't think the T switch allows to make a suspended object fall down. I could use a trap door system, but then Jack could jump on it from the nearby ledge.

I'll think of it, but I need a flash of inspiration [smiley=bath.gif]

OK, now he can. Seems better this way indeed.

Hard

16319 - Minor nitpick with sign. For this level, the
point of no return
is actually the bat platform, not the pole. Not a big deal.

Yep - that's it. I didn't come across anything I thought was unreasonable for this level.

Game Issues? (already posted on the general topic)

16707 - Pulling the switch in the upper left side (behind curtain) causes the platforms on the water below to flicker. Game glitch?

16310 - When riding the blue bat platform, an interesting thing happens: the brick background appears to bleed through the white arrow on the bat platform.

On the one hand, it is, technically, misleading. On the other hand it sounds good. So, a question to other testers -- should I modify the BBB for accuracy?

Easy level - Room 16507, skipping over
elevator stone
not sure what the real name is, to check the other side, the elevator drops to lower level, no way out, have to abort game.

Once you destroy all the spiders in the level and take the red key, a platform will appear to take you up and out of the room. Still, if you are careless and fall (or jump) off that platform when it rises, then I think you are stuck.

You could simply change the type of platform so that it permits you to go back up. Easy!  Smile It doesn't really change the difficulty.

Oh no! I need some sort of definitive look, like you know when you step on the platform that you cannot get back [smiley=evil.gif]
