Beta 2: Leofani Manor - divadnala - 04-16-2010 Post here for comments for Leofani Manor (all difficulties). Please start each paragraph in your message with the room number you are writing about. Re: Beta 2: Leofani Manor - divadnala - 04-16-2010 16696 Easy - The ladder on the left-hand side is unnecessary. Jack can get the coin on the top ledge simply by jumping from the bottom one. Apart from that he's got the vine to climb up. Maybe another ladybug on the left-hand vine would spice it up a bit and then the ladder could be left there to give Jack more chance of getting the top coin. Re: Beta 2: Leofani Manor - divadnala - 04-16-2010 Easy Overall I think this is another excellent mansion from Anthony. It's quite challenging. On my first run through I missed a few secrets, although one secret area that I did find had the backpack in it. On the subject of backpacks it might be a good idea to have one available earlier in the mansion. There are so many shields dotted about that I had to use them to kill spiders etc. several times so that I had room to pick up keys. Are you sure...? : ![]() 16296 Easy - I'll change the sign. Easy - Reduced the number of shields. Again. 16301 Hard - Added a way out of the central area, fixing a Jack stuck. Also simplified the puzzle. On a note of 16696, if you look on the other view of things... why shouldn't the ladder be there? It seems to me to be more 'fun' to have different types of elevation tactics available, especially for new players.

Silly Jack, he forgot to come back because he was in too much of a hurry to get down that ladder. Re: Beta 2: Leofani Manor - Semi-Native - 04-18-2010 HARD 16906 Levers, gray doors and floor switches VERY frustrating!!! Maybe too hard for an included mansion. 16706 Zapper beams too hard 16904 Too hard - Jack gets stuck on the sinking skeleton head and misses the platform. Seems like a cheap death. 15905 Jack Stuck - he can't get back down because the yellow platforms aren't there when he reenters the room. Easy solution - in the editor, I changed the yellow platform on the right (the down elevator) to move up first instead of down. So it's there when you need it. 15505 Sinking tiles too hard. I had to slow them down in the editor. 16301 Jack Stuck (see pic). Jack left the gray doors in that position after he got the red key in that room, went exploring the rooms to the right and down below. Came back up on the bat platform which leads to the Save point below 16301, climbed the ladder and is stuck. In the editor, I added a lever that would open that door so I could keep going in the game. Edit: Let me know what your solution is so I can make those changes in the editor. As of now, I can't go any farther. |
