Mansion Comments: Leofani Manor - VernJensen - 04-03-2010

Post here for bugs / comments / suggestions for Leofani Manor.

Remember to mention the room number (push Command-D to see it in the upper-left corner) and difficulty (Easy Normal, Hard) you are playing.

Re: Mansion Comments: Leofani Manor - divadnala - 04-03-2010

I've started playing Leofani Manor Easy and there seems to be problem with the elevator from room 16105 to room 15905. Both up and down elevators work fine if Jack just travels up and down between those two rooms. If he goes into room 15904 and comes back into room 15905 over the tops of the bookcases the elevator disappears downwards and never comes back up, leaving Jack stuck with no way down.

Re: Mansion Comments: Leofani Manor - Wingy - 04-03-2010

Hi Mapman, Anthony here, designer of this mansion. I'll fix this bug by having the trigger on the bookcases to only affect the platform in the bookcases, rather then the elevators, too. It seems that the other two difficulties don't have this bug, so that's why it got past me.

Hi Vern,

I sent you a personal messages (because of too much text) concerning Leofani
hard
, room no. 16700. The game is crashing when hopping on the skulls.

Greetings,
pleomax.

Re: Mansion Comments: Leofani Manor - Wingy - 04-05-2010

Thanks Pleomax for the bug report, Vern told me about it. There was a trigger in that room doing nothing, which seemed to through everything off -- I'll remove it.

Re: Mansion Comments: Leofani Manor - VernJensen - 04-06-2010

Actually, I discovered today that the crash was due to an entirely different issue: two triggers both revealed the same skull. Fixed in the code now.

Re: Mansion Comments: Leofani Manor Normal - rose - 04-07-2010

I have played through the Normal version. I can't find any real troubles. Nor could I find more than 65% secrets which troubles me.

I dash off to the difficult one. If you don't hear from me I am stuck somewhere  ;D  in the mansion.

Encountered the skull problem. Should I test if I can bypass by not jumping on certain skulls or should I wait for an update?

Re: Mansion Comments: Leofani Manor - Wingy - 04-08-2010

If you're getting that crash in that room with the millions of triggers making skulls appear, yes, you should wait for an update, other people have experienced the same problem.

Thanks! Smile

Easy:  Room 15905

Cheap Death

In pic....Look for Jack hidden in wall panel under right pool water.  If Jack jumps up in there, his head touches the water & he dies!

Easy: Room 15906

Jack can't p/u the yellow key because his saddle bag is already full of shields & 1 key. He already went back to kill a creature but acquired another shield. It would help if in this room the jumping fish would go higher so that he could kill them as he needs to, to use up the shields so that he could p/u the key.
