If you are interested in US politics, appalled by US politics, intrigued by US politics or just need something to do , there is a small, independent news network in Minneapolis, Minnesota covering the reelection contest between Al Franken and Norm Coleman. The courtroom proceedings are SO boring, but the live blog on the site is wonderful - sort of like the MM community - participants from all over the world although it is a US thing. My son-in-law, Marc Elias, is one of Al Franken's lawyers- and won the action figure contest, long story. Anyway, it's a fun, addictive blog on live from 9 - 4:30 Central time.
