What I am looking for is if rooms are the appropriate level, any cheap deaths when going between rooms. I already got the lava fish coming in from the left in 16300 --- examples like that is the sort of cheap things I need to fix, and Im sure this mansion is full of them. Re: Beta 3: Castle Basano - Semi-Native - 06-12-2010 Okay, I've gone through the Hard version, and here are my thoughts: 15493 Jack can shut off the zapper beams only from the other side, and by then he doesn't need to shut them off because he exits to the right. Seems odd. 15293 Two scorpions and the snake maybe a bit too hard 16300 Ghost and skull spider a little too close together 16294 Two birds very hard to avoid 16493 Slow the skull spider down a bit 16694 Zapper beams very hard (already reported by Rob in Reply #13) 16499 Having to avoid two birds while riding a platform is a bit too hard 16502 Too many critters 16096 I can't figure out how to get to the lower part. Help? 16904 Almost impossible to avoid getting eaten by the big spider 16506 Yellow platform moves too fast - too hard to time it right 16704 Markings on the wall at left look like they lead to a secret (which I think they do in at least one other version) but here they don't 15506 Zappers and falling platforms too hard 15306 Zappers and falling platforms a little too hard 15106 Too many critters 15307 Really hard to pull that lever with the spider and scorpion, and not get killed I'll go through the mansion again (maybe tomorrow) just to look for cheap deaths. To get to that secret you had to climb a secret ladder in room 16296. I'll add some abnormalities to the stone where the ladder is so players can see the secret better. Re: Beta 3: Castle Basano - rose - 06-13-2010 Castle Basano Hard 15698 - 15699 Jack has the grey bricks on and then I look at the map. I turn off the map and the grey brick change to golden and Jack falls if he is standing in the wrong place. Shouldn't one be able to look at the map without the bricks changing? Re: Beta 3: Castle Basano - Wingy - 06-13-2010 What? That's crazy! I have noticed unintended changing of the grey blocks but not from looking at the map, but from going between rooms. They hit me so fast I can't describe them though! ![]() Normally I hate labyrinths but in this mansion the graphic was so good and the size not to big that I liked it. 16095 Moneybags to bottom left. Jack did manage to jump but I think the distance is too difficult for Hard level. It was more like the aquaMat's mansion Jump. That one is VERY hard. 16905 Should be able to stand to the right on the moving brick going up, without being food for the spider. I am off to the next hard mansion! |
