I do not dislike mansions that didn't get on my top ten. 2. The reason I put DD on the list but not KK is the gold/silver blocks puzzle in DD, which is, in my opinion, the best g/s puzzle in the game. Just the right amount of puzzles, baddies and rewards and you NEVER :o know what's in the next room, so it keeps you guessing - FANTASTIC! ;D Oh, thank you so much, Suzanne.... I had feared already nobody'd like it...as nobody had ever talked about it anywhere on the boards.... ![]() Relieved, 8-) aquaMat Re: Your favourite custom mansions - suztours - 02-09-2007 Well - I keep having to go back to the second save point to try again and again and again... but I'll get on a bit further soon, I think! Anyway, Jack is tired of dying and being reborn all the time, so I'd better do better, that's all! My only confusion is not knowing, exactly, which way to go... so I keep doubling back and keep checking the map to see big gaping black holes here and there. As I said, it's a super puzzle! suzanne Re: Your favourite custom mansions - Wingy - 02-10-2007 Anyone like Echo Keep? I loved that one. (Other then Semi-Native)
Re: Your favourite custom mansions - Freddy - 02-10-2007 Defenitely. But where is Miss Lemon, btw? Re: Your favourite custom mansions - Sharpie - 01-25-2009 Thought I'd bring this thread back up. There's been many new mansions since and I'm curious. Also, what makes your top 10 so much fun? Re: Your favourite custom mansions - brell - 01-25-2009 I am not sure whether it is a good idea to open up this thread again since there are so many new mansions since it was started. There are a few things I look at when I deem mansion good: 1. Good puzzles 2. High problem solving level (not quite the same as 1. IMO 3. Good playability (no JS, HJS or CD's) 4. Fun to play 5. Skill-training (like ladder and squirrel jumps) 6. Secrets can be found (Jack must not have to do unnnatural things to find them) |
