Regarding blank signs -- so far I've only tried Castle Doom Normal because this has a sign near the start, but it worked just fine in 1.0.1b1. Can you guys see if this doesn't work for you? (Maybe Rob can test this, since Semi-Native deleted 1.0.1b1)

Even the first sign in Veronika's Towers HD (current download) works for me in 1.0.1b1.

I tried the Face normal and it worked when looking at the blank sign. I mean the mansion didn't crash.

Yeah but the sign shouldn't be blank. I don't know why it's blank for you guys but not for me.

Faces Normalhas a blank sign because the mansion needs fixing by one of the admins (the
textresources need to be renamed.)
Can anyone try the attached file -- Veronika's Towers HD -- and read the sign in the first room using the 1.0.1b1 version? The sign works FINE for me. Can anyone confirm that this sign does NOT work for them in 1.0.1b1??

I've just tried Veronika's Towers HD in 1.0.1b1 and the sign in the first room (16296) is blank for me.

Also, can you start up Console, and see if anything is written to it shortly after you try reading the sign and it turns up blank?

Yes the first sign in Castle Doom is blank.
There is no report of of any problem in Console.
