Hmmm, recording movies shouldn't slow the game down. What FPS are you getting? What are the system specs for your Mac? Does this happen in all rooms at the same frame rate?

Oh nevermind, I realized you're recording with an external screen capture program, not with Midnight Mansion's own internal system.
Just so you know, Midnight Mansion does save replays of each game by default. They don't always work to play them back, but that's part of testing. Maybe check with
Open Replayon the title screen to see if any of them work.
